Fireproofing
Spray-applied fire resistive material is the primary method for protecting structural steel frames in Bangladesh's high-rise and industrial market. NL Fireproofing specifies, applies and documents SFRM systems to the rated thickness each assembly requires.
REQUEST A QUOTEHOW IT WORKS
Cementitious SFRM is pneumatically sprayed onto bare steel, building up in passes to the design thickness. Each application is checked for adhesion and measured for density against the product data sheet and the tested design.
At completion we issue per-bay thickness logs signed by the site supervisor — the document your structural engineer and inspector will ask for at handover.
Does spray-applied fireproofing meet BNBC 2020 Part 4 requirements?
Yes. Our spray-applied fire resistive material (SFRM) applications are fully compliant with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) 2020 Part 4, providing the mandated fire resistance ratings for structural steel elements.
Is the fireproofing tested to ASTM E119 standards?
Absolutely. We exclusively use materials that have been tested and certified under ASTM E119 and UL 263 standard methods for fire tests of building construction and materials, ensuring verifiable performance during a fire event.
